The development story of PicWeave actually started with a Weibo comment.
That day, I had just finished an image enhancement tool called RevizePic and posted it on Weibo to get everyone's opinions. A user named 「-VwV-」 left a message: "If there was a collage tool, I would probably use it often." Just such a simple sentence, and I was stunned for a moment, thinking: isn't this a real need?
I also like to play with photos myself, such as creating a WeChat Moments nine-grid, or making a photo wall for home. But the collage tools on the market are either too simple to be useful, or charge fees with watermarks, which is really annoying. So, when I saw this comment, an idea suddenly popped into my head: why not build a simple and useful collage tool myself?
And so, the development of PicWeave began.
I set a few principles for myself: first, it must be simple and practical, not too fancy, users can use it immediately; second, no charging, no watermarks; third, protect privacy, images are processed locally, not uploaded to servers; fourth, instant availability, no software download, just open the webpage.
I didn't want to make it a professional-level editing tool, just wanted it to be a handy image collage assistant.
There were also some setbacks along the way, because each module requires related property settings, so it was quite troublesome to develop, with inevitable stumbles.
For example, how to design an interface that is both beautiful and functional? I spent a lot of time adjusting the layout, wanting users to feel comfortable when dragging images and adjusting sizes. Later, I also tried to add drag and zoom functions.
For example, someone said could we add text and stickers, so I quickly added this feature; others wanted more layout templates, so I designed a few more and put them in.
PicWeave is actually quite simple, it's just an online image collage tool. You can use it to create photo walls, post on social media, or just put a few images together. It has many layout templates, can adjust image positions and sizes, and can add text and decorations.

Simply put, PicWeave wants to help you make collage easier. Its story is not complicated either, starting from a user's comment, step by step becoming what it is now. The development process had its ups and downs, but seeing everyone use it happily makes me feel quite satisfied.
